A highly nutritious fruit that is loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Also known as Chinese Wolfberry as this deciduous woody perennial originates from China, where it’s used in traditional medicine. Grows to 3m high, takes 2-3 years to fruit. The 2cm fruit have a mild sweet liquorice flavour & should only be eaten ripe (bright orange/red). Can be eaten raw but is traditionally dried to preserve. Use in muesli, cookies, scroggin, soups and casseroles. 50 seeds.
