An annual vegetable mainly grown in spring and autumn, rapidly running to seed in hot weather. It needs fertile, rich, limy soil in a sunny or half shady position. Raw or cooked spinach is high in iron and an excellent source of vitamins in spring and autumn. Bulk seed available about 80 sds/gram. 250 seeds/pkt.
