This very decorative, up to 5metre tall, mallee tree has quite unusual, red-brown finger-shaped flowerbuds, which open into clusters of green-yellow flowers in late winter until summer. The following large, star-shaped, spiky seeds pods are perfect for floral arrangements. Drought, salt and frost tolerant. An ideal, bird-attracting feature plant for a well-drained, sunny position. 40 seeds.
