Another perennial type of Columbine with very large, long spurred, bell shaped flowers in a bright colour range from deep blue to red and white. In late spring and early summer the 60cm tall flower stems stand above the blue green, basal foliage. This plant grows well in normal well-drained soil in full sun or half shade.
