Campanula pyramidalis 'Blue & White'

A stunning short lived perennial with strong, 1.4 metre tall stems covered in large blue-purple or white bell-shaped flowers until early autumn. A great background with good, fertile soil with extra lime. It likes moist limy soils in full sun or half shade. Will tolerate heavy soils. Cut back after flowering to encourage a second bloom. 200 seeds.

Raise in trays to transplant later. As light aids germination, surface sow seeds and press down firmly to ensure good contact with soil. Keep moist and warm, about 20˚C. Takes up to 8 weeks to germinate.
