Native to Japan’s mountains and woodlands, this unusual orchid like flower is ideal for cool-climates. Its soft lilac/white, star-like blossoms with rich purple spots bloom in late summer to mid-autumn. Grow this clump forming perennial in moist, well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter, in part to full shade. An interesting cut flower. Cut back growth in winter. 40 seeds.
