Lavendula stoechas
The Italian Lavender is a frost hardy evergreen and compact little shrub up to 60 cm tall. It is covered in purple pink flower spikes from summer until late autumn. Also grown for essential oils, this type of lavender needs a sunny position with well drained garden soil.
